Zuzanna is enthusiastic about the clear focus on engineering services that sustainably increase the competitiveness of our customers. With our internal network of experts - the cross-ING Competence Centres - we can analyse and efficiently solve complex problems.
She finds cross-ING's core competences, which are right at the cutting edge, particularly inspiring. Many companies are struggling with a shortage of skilled labour and have put projects on hold. This is where cross-ING comes in by acting as a HUB for dedicated hardware and software engineers. Whether data analysis with AI tools, PLC & robotics, mechanical and tool engineering, Design for Excellence (DfX), process engineering or Operational Excellence (OPEX) - we put the right pieces of the puzzle together for every project.
Your understanding of engineering knowledge? ‘Knowledge is transferable experience. Companies need expertise to develop innovative, competitive products in real time.’ At cross-ING, engineers contribute their expertise to projects in a targeted manner, without laying claim to intellectual property. This cross-industry and project-based way of working ensures fresh perspectives and new solutions.
Sustainability is another key aspect - not only ecologically, but also economically and socially. The accumulated knowledge of cross-INGenieur:innen is carefully utilised and constantly developed through further training and exchanges with research institutes and universities.
Innovations often arise at interfaces. The points of contact between physical machines and digital control systems are particularly exciting. This is where our PLC/robotics team works on topics such as robot vision, PLC programming and cyber security. Such projects help to organise data supply chains efficiently and shape the industry of the future.
Goals for the Zurich-Schaffhausen region
cross-ING has been active since 2019 and has developed dynamically in recent years. Its vision: to achieve a similar level of awareness in Schaffhausen and the Zurich Oberland as in other regions in the next two years. With its direct and uncomplicated communication culture, she sees cross-ING as a competent partner for technical companies of all sizes.
She sees particular potential in the fields of plastics technology, laboratory technology, robotics and automation. With ISO 13485 certification, which cross-ING has held since July 2024, we will also be able to offer turnkey development projects for medical technology companies in the future.
